July 12, 2010, it was our anniversary and we went out to a french restaurant for dinner. It was a restaurant that we had been wanting to go to for sometime, but it turned out not to be that great at all. All night I was wondering if something was going to happen because a few weeks before when I was in the shower, Greg says to me, "Hey hun, I think your ring is dirty. You should clean it while you are in the shower."

I though that was weird since the ring he was talking about was in my jewelry case and he would have had to of gone into in, taken it out and then brought it to me because I was in the shower.

But alas, nothing happened at dinner. We said let's stop by our friends house. I said ok and then we stopped near her house at a dock on Crystal Lake. He wrapped his arms around me and said "Do you know where we are?"

Of course I said yes since I had only been there a million times in my life.

Then he was so romantic and said "Who knew that the girl I met here 15 years ago would be the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with."

Of course I said yes when he asked me to marry him and then we ran back to our car because we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes!!
