It was on July 22, 2011, that I first laid eyes on my future husband. When Anna Nassief first told me about her uncle, I was not the least bit interested, only because I wasn't looking. Being a wedding planner for years, I never imagined finding my night in shining armor at a wedding, especially one I was coordinating. Little did I know that the bride herself had been planning this for weeks, and of course, my conniving niece as well. We officially met the next day at Anna's wedding. Danced the night away, no thanks to my niece (of which no one seemed to mind). Later that evening, his daughters cornered me in the parking lot. "Would you call my dad?" they asked. Instead, he called me. The rest is history...

Kelly and I met at Anna and Kevin's pre-wedding party. As attracted as I was to her, she was sitting next to a man, only leading me to believe she was already taken. Brought back by her beauty, I figured she was much too out of my league. Later that evening, I found out that my family had inquired about Kelly, they came up to me and said, "You know Joe... She's single.." The next day after the wedding ceremony ended and the reception began, the chemistry commenced on the dance floor. We danced the night away and Kelly serenaded me. By the end of the night, I got the digits. And almost exactly a year later, after many memoriable and eventful dates, I put a ring on it by serenading Kelly.
