Peter and I have been together for a long time.  We are one of those lucky couples who met, settled in and waited until we were a little more mature and responsible before we decided to get married.  Due to that choice, we have most of the household items we need and actually our house is pretty full given our place is on the smaller side.  

So as we talked about it we both described that more than anything in the entire world we just wanted to be able to get out of town and go on an incredible honeymoon together. The location we have chosen is THE BAHAMAS - Sandals Resort at Emerald Bay which makes us tingle with joy to just think about being able to be there together on our first trip as a married couple. 

In order to allow this trip to be possible, we have registered at thebigday.com. This is a registry website that helps couples like us, who would not otherwise be able to go on a honeymoon at all, be able to take the honeymoon/trip of a lifetime. As a side note, the 7% surcharge that you may see on the website does not go to the company, they waived that fee once we finalized our travel arrangements and it comes actually comes to Peter and me as part of the gift (spending money - yippee :).  I am going to try to remove it all together; however if I can't just please don't think the website is getting that amount.
